Fit

High-waisted with an elastic band at the back, so it holds without digging. Straight and wide from the hip down, breaking just at the shoe. Three-dimensional cutting through the seat and thigh means it falls clean instead of pulling across the front. XS through L.

Fabric

A two-fiber blend — the primary fiber between 50 and 70 percent, the second between 30 and 50. Thin in the hand with a smooth, cool surface and a fluid drape that moves as you walk rather than holding a crease. Micro-elastic, so there's a little give without the fabric ever looking stretched.

Measured at the waist, relaxed and unstretched. The elastic back adds roughly two inches of give beyond these numbers.

How to Wear It

With a fitted top tucked in, so the waist reads high and the leg reads long. With a flat sandal in summer and a heel when the hem needs the extra inch. With an open shirt over a shell when the office asks for it.

Care

Cold gentle wash. Hang to dry — the drape is the point and heat is what kills it. Cool iron on the reverse if needed.
